2010 North Texas Bicycle Rally
North Texas Bicycle Rally - 9:00 AM October 2, 2010The North Texas Bicycle Rally (NTBR) is an annual fund raising event that supports local and national charity organizations. This year the NTBR has chosen St. Jude Children's Research Hospital as it's beneficiary. ***LIVE MUSIC and FREE FOOD for all NT Bicycle Rally Participants*** Routes - This year we will include 4 routes of 5, 15, 30 and 50 miles respectively.
This Bicycle Rally is made possible by many benefactors and sponsors. However, this ride would not be possible if it weren't for the participation and assistance of public safety teams from the cities of Roanoke, Trophy Club, Keller, Fort Worth, and Haslet. In addition, Tarrant and Denton County Public Safety teams will play a significant contributing role for this event.
This event covers the rolling hills and off-the beaten path roads of North Texas. We will be providing COMMEMERATIVE T-SHIRTS and Water Bottles. After the Rally we will have:

On-Line registration in currently Open and will close on Thursday September 30th at 11:45 PM Central Time
The Family Ride of 5 miles is perfect for beginners, family and Children. The rest stop will be at the Roanoke Parks and Recreation complex on the west side of Hiway 377. (No Hills - flat smooth concrete. Pretty much downhill both ways).
The Novice Route of 15 miles is for beginner cyclists. This Route consists of rolling hills and smooth concrete roads and asphalt.
The Intermediate Route of 30 Miles is for Intermediate cyclists. The Intermediate Route consists of smooth concrete and asphalt roads with well protected shoulders, some rolling hills, and a challenging climb.
The Long Route of 50 miles is for the well conditioned cyclist. The Long Route has a mix of fast concrete and asphalt roads with well protected shoulders, rolling hills, and several challenging climbs.
